West Ham's emotional farewell to Upton Park took an ugly turn when Manchester United's team coach was targeted by Hammers supporters hurling bottles on its way to the ground (pictured main and inset). Thousands of fans filled the streets around the Boleyn Ground, but after joyous scenes had greeted Slaven Bilic's side, the mood turned unsavoury when the visitors' coach was bottled as it wound onto Green Street, smashing the outer glass on the United coach (bottom right, defender Chris Smalling taking a photo of the damage with his mobile phone).
